Feel like you belong
When our employees feel valued, seen and that they belong, we know that they will be happier, more motivated and perform at their very best.
We aim to ensure our employees, service users and partners feel part of our inclusive culture, and strive to keep making improvements to our approach and services to ensure the best experience for the diverse range of people we employ and serve.
We strive to create an environment where all voices are heard. We believe that diverse teams help us make stronger, and ultimately make more inclusive decisions.
We are creating a workplace experience where fairness and respect are at the heart of everything we do, from our recruitment processes all the way through your career with us, whether it be through the training you receive, the development opportunities made available to you, the support our people managers provide or the recognition you receive.
And that is reflected in the fair and respectful culture we are building for the service users, residents, partners and suppliers we work with.
We offer many employee benefits centred around looking after employees’ health and wellbeing. Our employees can sometimes be faced with challenging situations at work, including working with vulnerable people who have faced traumatic life events, so ensuring support is available to all of our people is important to us.
Offer initial support to our employees through the together programme and one-to-one chats.
Run by our employee wellbeing ambassadors (volunteers from across the business who coordinate our wellbeing initiatives), the programme offers regular friendly calls, checking in with you and ensuring you feel connected and able to discuss anything which is on your mind.
Providing 24/7 confidential support to you and your immediate family. You can also access webinars and learning materials through their online portal, as well as being referred for free counselling services.
Our mental health first aiders are the first port of call for helping other employees to manage emotional distress and mental ill health by listening, providing guidance and signposting to appropriate services.
We have an annual wellbeing calendar, managed by our employee wellbeing ambassadors, which gives us a monthly wellbeing focus for each month of the year including events, fundraising, lunch and learn sessions and much more.
