Our recruitment process

Hints and tips for your application

If you are applying for one of the roles on our careers website, our process follows the steps you will see below. Although things may vary a bit here and there, we structure our recruitment processes to ensure they are as inclusive and transparent as possible. Ultimately, we want to make sure you and the role are a great match!

1. We list all our roles on this careers site.

2. If you find a role that interests you, click the ‘Apply’ link to go to the application page.

3. Follow the instructions and send your CV plus any supporting information that’s requested.

4. We will send you an automated response to confirm that we have received your application.

5. A member of our team will then review your application. We want to be thorough, so this could take up to two weeks. We receive a high volume of applications for some roles so we’re unable to contact every unsuccessful applicant. You can log into your application account to view the progress of your application.

6. If your application is successful, the talent acquisition team will contact you to arrange an interview.

7. The interview will either by virtual or face to face, but often the first contact will be made via telephone.

8. Our interviews always consist of a panel of at least two people and often complete an hour-long competency and behavioural-based interview. Please do remember that this is a two-way process – there will be opportunities for you to ask us questions too.

9. We will contact you within 72 hours of your interview to give you the result and feedback. If you are successful, we will make you a verbal offer. Written confirmation will follow.

10. The next step is security vetting – it is a compulsory part of the recruitment process. We vet people to DBS level, as a minimum, which can take two to eight weeks. Be aware that some roles may require a higher level of security clearance. This will be made clear on the job advert.

11. Once you have passed the security vetting, we will issue a contract with a confirmed start date.
