Custody and detention

MTC supports the Home Office and a range of partners at the Manston facility to care for vulnerable people arriving to the UK.

Our team manages the residential holding rooms, as well as assisting the clinical teams to assess new arrivals and escort people around the centre for their meetings with the Home Office.

The Home Office manages the facility with the support of a range of organisations and MTC routinely collaborates with other agencies to deliver the services required.
