Committed to strengthening communities and transforming lives.
Working for rehabilitation and reintegration
We have delivered services to the criminal justice sector in the UK for nearly a decade, helping people to turn away from crime and build more positive futures.
Our team has designed and delivered high-quality services in custody and within the community to meet the training, accommodation, work, health and other needs of the people we support. Our experienced team has years of expertise developed in the public and private sectors and includes former prison governors, operational leaders and experienced managers.
We have capability to work across the UK and also have mobile teams who can offer support to other agencies and organisations focused on the safety and care of people in the criminal justice system.
Support for people in the immigration and asylum system
We deliver a range of services for people in the immigration and asylum system, helping the most vulnerable people on arrival to the UK and within communities.
Supporting the Home Office and a range of partners at Manston in Kent, our team manages the residential holding rooms, as well as assisting clinical teams to assess new arrivals and safely escort people around the centre.
The wellbeing of the people we look after is always our priority, and we are committed to ensuring safe and decent conditions for all those in our care at whatever stage of their journey.
Providing quality healthcare and wellbeing services in secure settings
Our healthcare operation was established in the US in 2005 and provides quality medical, dental, and mental-health services to those in immigration and custodial facilities.
In the UK, we deliver a healthcare operation that provides safe, confidential triage and assessment reviews for vulnerable cohorts within secure environments. Our multi-discipline team includes registered general nurses, mental health nurses and advanced nurse practitioners (ANPs), providing care and support alongside over-the-counter and prescription medications (ANP only).
Whilst our healthcare delivery is focused within the immigration estate, we are looking to expand into police custody and other secure settings.
Delivering high-quality education and training programmes
We have been delivering education and training focused around working with vulnerable people and in public-facing roles in the US since 1981. Our Job Corps team has years of experience and expertise in delivering engaging and informative training sessions, resulting in more than 20,400 vulnerable youths becoming industry certified in a variety of fields including healthcare, construction, and automotive.
Our training team in the UK work tirelessly to ensure that all our operational employees are developed in the skills and behaviours required of them to successfully fulfil their role. Our in-house team design and deliver high-quality training programmes which support our mission to expand beyond this sector. This, along with our international heritage, will enable us to enter the adult education and training market and become a part of the significant growth expected in this sphere over the next five years.
There are plenty of opportunities if you want to take them at MTC. I am a wellbeing ambassador and have completed a mental health awareness course. MTC have been very supportive of my progression and I've been able to get involved in bringing new colleagues through their orientation.
