MTC and The Business Services Association’s Modern Slavery Council.
We are a proud member of the Business Services Association’s Modern Slavery Council.
Today, the BSA Modern Slavery Council and its co-chairs from OCS and Sodexo are joined in London by Hope for Justice, Cabinet Office, Home Office, BSA members, and advocacy organisations for the launch of the Toolkit for Tackling Modern Slavery in UK Service and Infrastructure Projects Sectors, and to celebrate the collective and collaborative efforts of the service and infrastructure sectors on the Toolkit.
The Toolkit provides businesses of all sizes with a best-practice guide to addressing the risks of modern slavery within their org
anisation and beyond. Practical guidance spans from Human Resources to operations teams; and from procurement to frontline staff.
The BSA Modern Slavery Council maintains a focus on tackling modern slavery in its members’ operations and supply chains. The Council believes that competition is off the table when it comes to this critical issue. Amey, Balfour Beatty, CBRE GWS, OCS Group, Serco, and Sodexo form the Council’s Steering Committee, and work alongside the Slave-Free Alliance and the BSA to represent the 17 organisations on the wider Council.
Thank you to Sodexo for hosting the launch.
